Ben has specialised in health and social impact assessment for the last 20 years. He works across the UK, in mainland Europe and further afield with policy makers, public health academics, environment scientists and spatial planners. Ben was given the Individual Award, in 2011, by the International Association for Impact Assessment. This is for achievement and advancement in impact assessment over a period of time at an international level.

Specialties: Health Impact Assessment; Strategic Environmental Assessment; and broader interests in public policy; governance; sustainability and both traditional and innovative ways of involving and consulting with the public.
