Tom is a sustainable energy consultant at Etude, providing strategic and detailed design input to reduce energy consumption and improve the comfort of our buildings. He holds a degree in structural engineering and is a qualified Passivhaus Designer. Recently, as the construction industry began to tackle the climate emergency and move towards net zero, he collaborated with others to produce guidance and standards, having worked with both the UKGBC and LETI. Following the positive reception these publications have received, he has been assisting clients with achieving their ambitions around net zero and encouraged a whole-life approach to improving energy performance in buildings.
