Sathish Nama

Sathish is a Transport Planning Consultant of over 23 years’ experience, with a Civil Engineering background, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT). He is a Director at Royal HaskoningDHV (RHDHV) Mobility & Infrastructure based in London.

Sathish helps build teams and lead teams, mentoring staff, and fostering a collaborative environment for project success. His leadership skills have contributed to developing cohesive and productive teams at various organisations throughout his career.

Sathish is passionate about creating sustainable places and thriving communities. His focus on partnership working and desire to work collaboratively have helped to shape and improve the quality of the built environment, with an emphasis on user needs and inclusivity. This holistic approach to integrating transport within the context of wider development has been key to developing Sathish’s philosophy, that transport planning for development is essentially for the good of the community and not simply the need to mitigate against the transport of new development.

In his various technical and managerial capacities, Sathish has delivered exemplar sustainable development schemes nationally. He has helped public and private sector clients to achieve planning permissions in Elsenham, Chelmsford, Loughton, Epping, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Frinton on Sea, and Chelmsford in the Essex region.

Sathish has extensive experience in the planning, design and management of major development projects, urban extensions, and town centre regeneration schemes.
