Phil is a Director of the Transport and Planning Group of Royal Haskoning in the UK and is responsible for the Transport team within the London office.
Phil provides expert advice to both public and private sector clients. He has provided expert witness at public inquiry. Phil regularly lectures on transport impacts of development.
He has more than 20 years experience of transport planning and highway engineering, working on a wide variety of projects across the south of England. Phil has worked on development and regeneration schemes of all scales from single units to new urban expansions housing 50,000 residents. In each situation Phil has worked in multi-disciplinary teams, balancing competing requirements to produce quality solutions. Whilst having a background in movement focussed disciplines, Phil has a deep appreciation of the built environment and the need to create quality places.
He is currently engaged on a strategic site within Essex, and also a major town centre regeneration scheme. This is part of his diverse portfolio of projects spanning a wide range of land uses. Since joining Royal Haskoning Phil has also become involved in a number of strategic port projects across the UK and overseas.
