Previously working as a Local Authority Conservation Officer, Maria has several years’ experience of providing advice to owners, agents, architects and Development Management Officers on all kinds of development impacting on heritage assets, as well as the production of conservation area character appraisals and contributing towards an emerging Local Plan.

Maria has an MA in Buildings Archaeology from the University of York and a degree in History from the University of Leeds. In 2017 she also completed a post-graduate certificate in Historic Conservation at Oxford Brookes University.
