Carol is a Partner at Hawkins\Brown and has significant experience working in the education sector, leading the school projects within the practice. Her recent projects include the redevelopment of six primary schools for the London Borough of Southwark, and the new Notting Hill & Ealing Junior School for the Girls Day School Trust . She has also led a number of other new build and refurbishment projects with the City of London involving both school and residential developments.
Carol is passionate about the impact good design can have in an educational environment. She championed Hawkins\Brown’s #GreatSchools initiative in partnership with the Architects Journal and has participated as an expert panel member in debates about school design in the current climate. She is also a parent governor and a former trustee of the Lion Education Trust.
